About Capacity Building

IIGF Institute also participates in developing the PPP infrastructure ecosystem through the Capacity Building program.

PPP scheme utilizes private financing to execute public infrastructure services while Government of Indonesia (GoI) can be able to manage conventional financing using state budget to provide support facilities for the PPP ecosystem. Hence, the GoI strongly PPP as a creative financing scheme for effective infrastructure provision. On the other hand, the implementation of the PPP scheme requires high commitment of relevant stakeholders in addressing infrastructure needs. To build stakeholder’s engagement to the scheme, capacity improvement of human resources in infrastructure is a key factor to deliver infrastructure provision using this scheme.

Capacity Building Program

IIGF Institute in collaboration with its partners such as the PPP Joint Office, other relevant line ministries/ Institution, University Networks for Indonesia Infrastructure Development (UNIID), etc. organizes capacity building program which specifically designed for assisting stakeholders for the implementation of high-quality PPP scheme.

The capacity building program is designed with the following objectives:

Socialization

Increasing awareness and understanding of the government and the public on alternative PPP schemes

Training

Facilitating mentoring through workshops to assist Government Contracting Agencies (GCA) in screening and planning potential PPP projects

Coaching Clinic

Facilitating mentoring through workshops to support joint review for the preparation of PPP project documentations (Preliminary Study, OBC, FBC)

This program is available for public institutions and or organizations with similar interest in infrastructure provision using PPP scheme.
